TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: 1 January 2026

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your participation in, and access to, Soul x Science and all associated experiences (the “Event”), organised by FUEGO (“we”, “our”, “us”). By purchasing a ticket, registering, or attending the Event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Event Overview

Soul x Science is a live, immersive experience that may include talks, workshops, physical practices, breathwork, sound and vibration sessions, movement, cold and heat exposure, contemplative practices, and other experiential sessions designed to support performance, recovery, and wellbeing.

We reserve the right to modify the Event format, schedule, speakers, facilitators, content, sequencing, and venue at any time without prior notice. Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund, provided the overall character of the Event is preserved.

  1. Tickets and Admission

  • Tickets must be purchased through authorised channels only. Tickets obtained via unauthorised resale platforms or third parties may be voided without refund.

  • Admission requires a valid ticket and proof of identity may be requested at the door.

  • Tickets are personal and non-transferable, except as set out in Section 3.

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry, deny access to specific sessions, or remove any participant at our sole discretion, including in cases of inappropriate, disruptive, intoxicated, or unsafe behaviour. No refund will be issued in such cases.

  1. Refunds, Transfers and Cancellations

  • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except as expressly set out below or where required by applicable law.

  • Ticket transfers may be requested in writing up to seven (7) days before the Event and are subject to our written approval. A reasonable administration fee may apply.

  • If the Event is cancelled by the organiser in its entirety, a full refund of the ticket price will be issued within thirty (30) days of cancellation. Booking, processing, and third-party fees may be non-refundable.

  • If the Event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund within fourteen (14) days of the announcement of the new date.

  • Where individual sessions are cancelled but the Event proceeds, no partial refund will be due, although we will use reasonable efforts to provide a comparable alternative.

  1. Participant Responsibility and Assumption of Risk

The Event may include physical, emotional, and introspective experiences that carry inherent risks.

By attending, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Participation in any and all sessions is voluntary.

  • You are solely responsible for assessing your own physical, emotional, and mental fitness to participate in each session you select.

  • You assume all risks associated with participation, whether or not such risks are foreseeable, save for liability that cannot be excluded by law.

  • You should consult a qualified medical professional before participating if you have, or suspect you may have, any medical or psychological condition.

  1. Health Declaration and Activity-Specific Contraindications

Certain sessions within Soul x Science carry specific contraindications. These include, but are not limited to: breathwork; cold exposure; sauna and other heat-based practices; sound, vibration, and frequency work; intensive movement and somatic practices; and any session involving altered or non-ordinary states of awareness.

Contraindications may include, without limitation:

  • Pregnancy, or trying to conceive (where relevant to specific practices);

  • Cardiovascular conditions, high or low blood pressure, recent cardiac events, or use of cardiovascular medication;

  • Epilepsy, seizure disorders, or a history of seizures;

  • Severe asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or other significant respiratory conditions;

  • Recent surgery, fractures, or unhealed musculoskeletal injuries;

  • Severe mental health conditions, including but not limited to psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, dissociative disorders, or active acute trauma responses;

  • Use of certain medications, including blood thinners, anti-psychotics, or other agents that may interact with the practices on offer;

  • Any other condition that a qualified medical professional has advised may be exacerbated by the activities described.

When building your personal journey through the Soul x Science booking platform, you will be presented with the contraindications relevant to each session you select. By confirming your selection, you expressly warrant that:

  • You have read and understood the contraindications set out for that session;

  • You do not have any condition that contraindicates participation, or you have consulted a qualified medical professional and have been cleared to participate;

  • You accept full responsibility for your decision to participate, and acknowledge that we are entitled to rely on your confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse, restrict, or terminate your participation in any specific session where there is reasonable concern for your safety or wellbeing, or for the safety or wellbeing of other participants. No refund or credit will be due in respect of any session from which you are reasonably refused or removed on safety grounds.

You agree to disclose any relevant medical condition, medication, or recent change in health status to the session facilitator on the day, in confidence, and to notify a member of the Soul x Science team immediately if you experience physical, emotional, or psychological discomfort during any session.

  1. Health and Outcomes Disclaimer

The Event is designed for educational, informational, and experiential purposes only. Nothing offered at the Event constitutes medical, psychological, psychiatric, nutritional, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no doctor-patient or therapist-client relationship is created.

We do not guarantee any specific outcome, result, healing, or personal transformation. Individual responses to the practices vary, and the Event is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.

  1. Third-Party Facilitators, Speakers and Practitioners

Soul x Science features speakers, facilitators, and practitioners who are independent contractors and not employees of FUEGO. Their views, opinions, methods, and recommendations are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of FUEGO, and do not constitute medical advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FUEGO accepts no liability for the acts or omissions of third-party speakers, facilitators, or practitioners, save where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

  1. Code of Conduct

We are committed to creating a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment. You agree to:

  • Treat all participants, speakers, facilitators, staff, and venue personnel with respect and dignity;

  • Refrain from disruptive, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate behaviour;

  • Comply with all venue, health, and safety guidelines, including any instructions issued by our team or facilitators;

  • Refrain from attending the Event under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed substances.

We reserve the right to remove any participant without refund for breach of these standards.

  1. Photography, Video and Media

By attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree that photography, video, and audio recordings will take place. These recordings may capture your image, likeness, and voice, and may be used by the organisers and their partners for marketing, promotional, editorial, and commercial purposes across all media channels, in perpetuity, without compensation or further approval.

If you do not wish to be recorded, you must notify us in writing at the email address set out in Section 17 prior to the Event. While reasonable efforts will be made to respect such requests, we cannot guarantee complete exclusion from all incidental recordings.

Participants are not permitted to record, film, photograph, livestream, or otherwise capture sessions, speakers, facilitators, or other participants without our prior written consent. This restriction applies in particular, but not exclusively, to sessions involving emotional, somatic, or vulnerable practices, in order to protect the privacy and safety of all participants.

  1. . Intellectual Property

All Event content, materials, methodologies, brand assets, and experiences remain the intellectual property of FUEGO, the relevant speakers, or their respective licensors.

  • Recording, filming, screenshotting, or reproducing content for commercial use is strictly prohibited.

  • Content may not be distributed, republished, taught, adapted, or otherwise reused without our prior written consent.

11. Data Protection and Communications

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, as relevant to the jurisdiction of the Event.

We distinguish between two categories of communication:

  • Transactional communications: essential information relating to your booking, the Event logistics, health and safety updates, and changes to the schedule. These are necessary for the performance of our agreement with you and cannot be opted out of while you hold a valid ticket.

  • Marketing communications: newsletters, future event invitations, partner offers, and similar updates. These will only be sent where you have given explicit, opt-in consent, and you may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such message or by contacting us.

Full details of how we process personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

12. Emergency Reponse and Medical Disclosure

In the event of a medical incident, accident, or other emergency, you consent to our team taking such reasonable steps as may be necessary to safeguard your wellbeing, including but not limited to contacting the emergency services and sharing relevant information disclosed at booking (including emergency contact details and material medical information) with first responders or medical personnel.

13. Age, Capacity and Pregnancy

The Event is open to attendees aged eighteen (18) or over. We may, at our discretion, admit attendees aged sixteen (16) or over with prior written approval and the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

  • By attending, you confirm that you have full legal capacity to enter into these Terms and to provide informed consent to participation.

  • If you are pregnant, you must disclose this at the time of booking, as it affects the suitability of multiple session types.

14. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, opportunity, or enjoyment;

  • We are not responsible for personal belongings brought to the Event;

  • We are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from your participation, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where our liability is not excluded or limited above, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Event shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for your ticket.

15. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay, alteration, or cancellation of the Event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, flood, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government restrictions, public health events, pandemic, venue unavailability, transport disruption, strikes, or industrial action.

In such cases, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule the Event or to offer affected participants a credit of equivalent value toward a future Soul x Science event. Where neither rescheduling nor a credit is reasonably possible, a partial or full refund may be issued at our discretion, having regard to costs already incurred.

16. International Editions and Local Law

Soul x Science is delivered across multiple jurisdictions. Where an Event is held outside England and Wales, additional or amended terms may apply to reflect local consumer protection, health and safety, and data protection requirements. Such local terms will be made available at the point of booking and shall prevail over these Terms to the extent of any conflict, but only in respect of the relevant Event.

17. Amendments to these Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the date of your booking shall apply to your participation in that Event. Material changes affecting existing bookings will be notified to you at the email address provided at the point of booking.

18. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any local terms applicable to a specific Event, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Event and supersede any prior representations or agreements.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
